Returning to college, or pretending like you’re going back to college so you need ‘back to school clothes’ too, is definitely no easy feat. You’ve just been home for three months and let’s face it sometimes we can get a little lazy when it comes to style, thank you bikinis. My daily routine: wake up, gym, Starbucks, work, home, dinner. All I’m saying is we can get a little caught up and sometimes style can suffer. I have to admit, working in an agency where ‘business casual‘ is the dress code makes my life a lot easier- although opting for trousers over jeans is a daily battle (the jeans typically win).
Here is a collection of back to school styles I’ve created. The price range varies, so there is something for everyone. Every item can be found at Nordstrom
. Happy shopping.
The Everyday Bohemian- Whether you’re shopping with girlfriends for the day or going to your favorite wine bar in the evening, this outfit will surely make a statement. My favorite part? The Giving Key necklace, visit the link to learn all about its powerful message.
Zara Knitted Top / Kendall + Kylie at Topshop Wide Leg Palazzo Trousers / BC Footwear Slingback Wedge Sandal / Lulu Chevron Quilted Crossbody Bag / The Giving Keys Classic Pendant / BP Stone Stud Earrings / David & Young Wool Fedora
Fashionably Active- Saturday morning laziness has never looked so good. This outfit can take you from the trails to the books in no time at all.
Upper East Side- Date night essentials right here! But, if you’re feeling like you need a boost to your wardrobe mid-week opt for this fun and flirty look.
Girls Night Out- Need I say more? Depending on the look and feel you’re going for choose the wristlet. Hands free? No problem, choose the teal crossbody bag (big enough for your lipstick, card and cell phone). My current obsession: initial jewelry. Customizable and in style, the Rustic Cuff bracelet can be worn every day.
Sunday Brunch- You’ll be thinking happy thoughts wearing this comfy ensemble. Boyfriend jeans and a cozy sweater scream ‘Sunday.’
Styles were made on Polyvore. Outfits are all my own.
