NYE 2015 Outfit

2015, you’ve been so good to me. While we may have had our ups and downs these last few months have been way up. This is the year I started my blog, 5 short months ago, so I will always have a soft spot for you, 2015. So much has changed and I am thankful for all of the support and kind words I’ve received since starting this journey. From partnering with brands and companies to booking travel, I could have never imagined. As I sit in the car starting a 10 hour journey to an undisclosed location I am filled with so much gratitude its nearly pouring out of me.

Writing has always been a passion of mine. And I have to admit sharing it with the world is scary, one of the reasons its taken me so long to start The Sunny Side of Things. Whether I’m writing about fashion, travel or one of my long winded Instagram posts know that so much time goes into the way I write my words. People may think its frivolous or that writing is easy but it isn’t. It’s like a recipe and its only perfect when balanced.

I’ll tell you more 2016 details in another post. Lets just say, if you told me the things that have happened were going to happen I would tell you you’re crazy.

In honor of this year coming to an end I wanted to close with some sparkle. If you couldn’t tell, I love sequins during the holiday season. These pants are everything. You’re probably not going to wear a sweater to a NYE party but I wanted to show how versatile sequin pants really are. They can be taken from day to night in a matter of minutes.

If you’re planning on partying all night long, you’ll want something comfortable. Wear sequin pants with a pair of closed toe stilettos. Up top keep it simple, put away the sweater and exchange it for a loose fitting tank top to balance out the form fitting look you have going on below. Presto! You are ready for the night.
