Basic Fall Layers

*What to wear when you have nothing to wear* also known as *what to wear when you hate everything in your closet.* There is just something about a basic, layered outfit that makes me happy. My bet is you can pull something similar together with what you have hanging in your closet right now.

Fall Fashion

Where did I wear this look to? An apple orchard of course! Wallingfords Fruit House, located in central Maine, is not your standard orchard. There are corn mazes, apple picking, a petting “zoo,” haunted hayrides, homemade apple cider donuts (blueberry, pumpkin, apple cider, and chocolate), apple dumplings, apple cider- basically THE WORKS. What am I holding? In addition to all of that they opened up a hard apple cider bar serving Ricker’s Hard Cider! There are endless options; you can buy a flight of six or eight or you can buy hard cider by the glass (or bottle). With flavors like grapefruit, maple, pumpkin, blueberry, and let me not forget original, there is something for everyone.

Back to the outfit. Look in your closet. Find a long sleeve, match the long sleeve with a sweater, pair with denim and your favorite booties. Voilà! You are ready to go. Not in love with the options in your closet? Find this outfit here.
