Fall is my favorite season because the temperature cools off, the humidity dies down and the styles that follow are out of this world. There is just something about cozying up in comfy – but stylish – clothes.
I am obsessed with oversized sweaters, ankle boots and tribal print. If you know me you know I shop year-round for Fall styles! So naturally over the summer, I was on the lookout for new trends and wanted share a few that I found. And one thing I love about adding new clothes to my wardrobe is that they will most likely complement what’s already in your closet.
As you’ll see in the pictures I wore one pair of jeans to show how versatile staple pieces can be. The jeans pictured are from Banana Republic, a hidden retail gem in my eyes. I swear by their jeans! There are so many different styles, washes and price points, there is nearly something for everyone. They are super comfy and they stretch just enough when you wear them. Let’s get to it.
The first outfit is basic- think park strolls, Sunday brunch and apple picking. My favorite part about this outfit is the T-shirt! The Home T is 100% made in the United States and for each purchase a portion of the profits go to multiple sclerosis research. Multiple sclerosis is a debilitating disease that disrupts the nervous system and information flow from the brain to body. The cause of MS is still unknown and there is still no cure, so any type of donation helps.
There are international Home T’s for those of you that don’t live in the states! The T’s are unisex so they fit a little bigger than the average T-shirt. Tip: tuck it into a pair of jeans or skirt for a cleaner look OR order a size smaller. The material is beyond soft and it might just be the comfiest shirt I own. Check out how others style their Home T on Instagram! You’ll have a little piece of home anywhere in the world and I can’t wait to wear mine on all my my adventures.
I accessorized with a statement necklace, hat and a pair of perforated black flats. You could also add a colorful belt for a pop of color!
The second outfit is styled with a dinner date mind. Again, the same jeans but with a pair of black booties, bright shirt and a neutral vest. I wanted to show off the details of the collar so I wore my hair in a tight top bun. If it’s cooler out throw on a long sleeve underneath and a pair of tall black boots.
My final outfit is perfect for any occasion and it can easily be dressed up or down depending on the look your going for. You don’t really need any accessories with this look because the poncho adds enough to the look. I would say a neutral bag, hat and a pair of fun booties are just enough.
