Fashion Friday: Wantable Review

Is it me or does it feel like this week has been the hottest of the summer? Sweating has been unavoidable- the humidity mixed with the blazing hot sun has me wishing for Fall (but really). Something else I’m not liking: all of my clothes. Monday through Friday I’m in the office, which calls for business causal (very casual). You would think I would be able to manage business causal 5 days a week but no.

I set out for a new look. Living in Maine can be a struggle when it comes to fashion and personal style, actually living in Maine is a struggle altogether but I will get to that another time. Local stores consist of T.J. Maxx, Kohl’s and J.C. Penney none of which really get the job done. T.J. Maxx is that really cool friend who always has the trendy, boho clothes but not the ideal spot for snagging some business cas, J.C. Penney and Kohl’s are your step-moms: you don’t want to admit you like them but you do and you can occasionally find a good outfit or at least some staple pieces.

Personally, I prefer online and outlet shopping think Rue La La, Nordstrom Rack and Saks (Off) Fifth Avenue. I am always looking for high quality apparel, shoes and accessories at a low price. Looking for new things to try, I stumbled upon Wantable.

If you haven’t heard of Wantable I suggest you go on Google and check it out! Wantable is a virtual styling service that consists of Collections and Edits. Collections are $40 for the first month and $36 the following months. You can choose a Collection in three categories: accessories, makeup and intimates and receive 3-5 items right to your doorstep. Edits are $20 a month and you can choose from two categories: fitness and style and receive five items monthly. Don’t love your items? Send them back (free of charge) with feedback so that your Style Editor can perfect your style.

The Wantable Style Editors do all of the work for you! All you need to do is sign up and take their 32-question style quiz based on a love, like, and dislike scale. You can also choose a price range your willing to spend in. With only 24 employees they will make you feel like you’re their only client, truly living up to their standard of excellence.

Although I did not keep any of the items the brands (um hello French Connection), quality, and affordability will keep me coming back for future Style Edits.

Here are the five pieces I received in my July Style Edit courtesy of Wantable.
